Well guys I just got my new celica today. Its a 2001 with 13033 miles on it. can someone tell me about that recall they had on them because my belts are to make a sound and someone told me about a recall they had on them.

That would most likely be the engine drive belt tensioner that usually causes a squeak/squeal particularly when starting and the engine is cold. If you car currently does this, the dealer should replace it with the newer, improved unit.

If there isn`t currently a problem, it`s most likely it was already replaced.

Gt cause it was the only one they had there and i just own my first race against a V6 Ford Probe..... I straight smoked it like a blunt.

There are no recalls on the celi. just tsb's
