Hi All,

I have a 2000 GTS and it came with some hella fugly stickers that are on both sides of the car. I was able to remove the majority of this crap with a razor but the racing stripes (just big stickers really not actually painted on stripes) left behind a nasty white sticky residue and try as I might I can't get it all the way off so now the car has this bogus outline of the stickers previous location, I got some off but you can still tell. I don't want to hurt the paint job, does anyone know what works best and won't kill my paint to remove this stuff?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanx!

If you are experienced with a buffer then that could do the trick as well ---- I don't know if you want to go through the hassel of buffing the whole car though. Once you buff one part --- you have to buff the rest (just for peace of mind). You could also take it to a detail shop and have them take it out. My pop had got his brand new candy red 95 Eclipse painted (spraypainted on the front end) and he took it to a detail shop and they got it ALL out. IF you just bought your car --- take it back to the place you bought it from and ask them if they can get it out. They probably won't charge you for it. Just some suggestions. Peace

Thanx for all the suggestions guys! I am not that great with a buffer and don't currently have access to one so I think I will try the goo gone. I will let ya know how I fared...hopefully well hehe

Thanx again!

You can also pick up some bug and goo remover from any pep boys or autozone. That should do the trick and it doesnt leave any nasty residue.
