I live in FL, dont have to worry about all that snow and crap :wiggle:
A Celica is a FWD compact - why would you park it in the winter?

We'll we all see what your getting at marc. Its just a celica. Its FWD. Just drive it in the winter. But you have to understand, for every car made, there is a group of people who praise it and try their best to keep it in mint condition, no matter if its a Pinto, or a Corvette.

My celica hasn't seen the chance to see winter yet, for the past 2 years something went broke that left it setting for the entire winter.
Let's hope it can make it this time. *knocks on wood*

i bought a beater for the winters so i always garage the celica, salt is hell on a car even if you wash it every other day, i still have a loan to pay for the thing so i am keeping it in as good of condition as i can, plus not driving it for a few months out of the year keeps the miles from racking to badly
Its my only car, so I will drive it. Drove it through a foot of snow last year, this year can't be any worse.

The celica is my only car so therefore I will be driving it. I can use my boyfriends truck if its absolutely bad and I can't go out, but usually I'll just stay home if it gets like that.

No extra car this year, so I'll be driving, but I'm putting my stock wheels back on.

hibernating for the winter, my cavi takes the winter beating.
I prefer to protect my celi from the salt/sand/bad drivers who go too fast.
I put too much money into this car to have it totaled off from some ice.
and this pic is a good reason to store it away too (taken from my cell of the coldest day we had last year. Coldest place on earth for that day too) Keep in mind, that's celsius not farenheit

gotta drive it when it's your only car.. =/
just gotta be careful with all the other iddiots out on the roads in their SUV's that think they can drive through snow like it's summer time still...
a dodge ram 2500 jacked up with huge tires flew past me on the highway last year. i was doin 40.. he must have been around 70 or so. As he passed me i muttered '*******, your gonna crash'... seconds later i see him swerve left to right then off the road into the center median. Serves him right i guess... but i hope people learn their lessons and respect the weather!

That's your coldest day last year? You had it lucky. In Edmonton, I think we had -40 with windchill after a 4 feet snow storm. A lot of my clients didn't show up that day. I remember driving in the fresh snow before anyone else and it was fun!
I was thinking of getting a beater but no such luck. My front bumper and underpanels are already broken, so they can survive another winter without being fixed. I guess I'll see how things go with the lowered car this year. *fingers crossed*
The stock rims with winter tires are going on this weekend. =( Goodbye, Weds!

My Celica hardly gets driven. For the winter it will be put away. But on nice days I will take it out. I got a 91 Nissan Maxima that I drive everyday.

Snow tires. Its trashed already anyways, no point in garaging it.
I can understand taking a car off the road for fear of salt - that **** eats cars alive up here.
Its impossible for me to find a good, clean Civic up here.
