yes i custom made it ,just cut it out of plastic,actually its very easy to do..and thanks for the comments....

can someone tell me what kit is best for the celica....and also what is this purge..i thoguhtu just had to hit the switch to open the bottle and the the comp does the rest at WOT ...

i personaly like the nx kit,and the purge gets all of the air out of the nitrous line,and the only way that you can hit a switch to open the bottle is if you have the auto bottle opener..and yes the nitrous will only come on at WOT,witch is supplied with the kit when you buy it,but extras like bottle heater,blowdown tube,bottle opener,purge kit,fuel pressure safty cut off,all are extra $$.....

Love the set up and the color of your car. It looks real good Im going the NX route soon.

How much did you end up spending total? You have almost the same mods as me on your gt.

Is the boost gain real significant with the header intake and exhaust? My cars getting really heavy and Im sick of loosing a golf handed me my ass. Thanks

i spent about 850 total but that's with me installing it myself.....and the gains are great..when you hit wot it feels like a boost in every gear....the way i look at it is im getting almost the same hp as a turbo and i spent only a third of the money,plus if i do the internal upgrades i want to do i'll have more hp then a turbo and still have spent less money....

only one problem with your logic there.. a turbo keeps making power when your bottle runs out :) not flaming ya though, hell im prolly gonna have nitrous on my turbo eclipse ;)

i agree,but im also not always putting stress on my motor everyday only when i need it,but hey im not putting down turbos it's just $4000 it a bit rich for me for only 65 hp...

ahh but once again.. you may not be putting stress on your engine all the tiem with the nitrous BUT with nitrous its an instant shot of power/torque which is rougher on your engine then the slow buildup of a turbo or s/c ;)

But only a 35 shot? shouldn't the engine be able to take it? How long do you think the Celica GTS can last with a 35 shot? I've been thinking about doing the GenX2 kit but I also want reliability. What to do, what to do....

its not a matter of how large the shot is.. its a matter of how fast the full shot happens with nitrous its immediate.. but 35 shot should be fine.. bt ill warn you now, you wnot stick with it.. youll want more :)
