Tires Light?? where I can get it [Archive]

Last night I was driving in I495 and this car in front of me has this cool light on his tires it look fantastic, I think you screw it to the valve stem!. Please some one help me here I need to get it. any link will be great!

I'll try to contain my laughter here.

First off...

"air pin" is an interesting way of saying "valve stem"

Now that you know it is actually a valve stem, you can go to yahoo (or ebay) and search for "valve stem light" and you will find what you need, in many colors...

Ive only seen them once. It was while I was working, a customers car had them They prolly wouldnt look to shabby while moving, but from a dead stop they would look cheesy as hell.

:werd: I am just saying because I'm sick of calling rice because really I have rice too (roofspoiler) and what not so whatever :) the guy was saying rice! and I was looking at the altezzas and was like Rice!! so yeah you get what i'm saying :) whatever if I owned a domestic all imports are considered rice by those guys :)

I have a set of these I've put on maybe twice.. and one time I just wanted to see what they looked like while I was driving so me and a few friends went out at night and got some video tape of them moving..

After seeing the video, I must say I my car will never have 'em. Its not that the video swayed me in one way or the other. I didn't like the idea from the start. If anyone likes 'em buy 'em.

btw you might want to be careful with those, my friend just to be goofy got 2 free sets at sema and he put them on his bronco and both sets got stolen.

Where do those lights draw power from anyway? Are they battery powered? if they are, where do they put the battery???? :wtf: Oh yeah, to go along w/the thread, I DON'T like 'em but, HEY it's your car...

The lights are battery powered. I'm not sure what size but they are like the size of the watch batteries. The batteries are within the valve stem light. They are like an inch long?

Don't worry I don't have any on my car!

You know you guys call about everything rice. I am just noticing this. I am not by any means supporting these wheel lights (which are stupid IMO), I am just saying that in every single thread about an appearance mod, someone manages to call the mod rice. Why? You know, I am sure out there somewhere there are people who think putting an exhaust on an import is rice. I don't even know why I worry about it, usually the people who call things rice have altezzas, like CelicaNamja.

I've had them on my car twice, when I first got them, and when I wanted to see what they looked like so we made that video.. they attract too much attention and I don't like em..

How true. I don't throw the term rice around, it's played out and like you pointed out everybody says it about everything. I do believe there are things that are in bad taste, and those lights are only 1 of many of those things.
