Wheel and tire size advice

i have a 2000 GT-S ,Currently i have Tein S techs and KYB GR2 struts and am looking to get some new rims and tires. i want 17's not 18's but dont know how to tell what size 17" wheel and tires i would need... anyone got any suggestions?

225/45/17 tire size is the typical size i see ppl have. 5x100 bolt pattern. there's actually a lot of post about tire offset and etc.

17 X 8 +35 offset with 225/45/17 tires is the perfect setup.

I'd go with 225/45/17. Seems like a well proportioned size.

what kind of rim u guys recommend then..
cause i m using 16 inch rim.. it look kinda small. even i drop 1.4 spring already..

check out sponsor sights for different rims. Do you have any idea on what kind of wheels you prefer? 5 spoke 6 spoke etc. what color your are looking for? I personally prefer 5 spoke designs. oh a budget range wouldn't hurt either
