You don't have to. Find another way to have it on the front bumper.

nope. you can still get a ticket. i talked to a cop before and he said that it doesnt matter if you have it on the dash or not. you will still get a ticket. you have to have it outside on the front. i agree, the cars look much better without the plates!

Do this, if and only if, the grill is secured onto the front bumper. The grill on the stock bumper is secured, unlike some grills on aftermarket bumpers.

Example: My Varis front had a grill that was held on by "paper clip" tabs. I thought it was secure enough to ziptie my plate on. Nope. It experienced too much drag that the plate and the grill fell off.

Solution: Buy a license plate mounting bracket from AutoZone.
