I'll be damned if I'm giving up on the Celica now.

I got in one of my pissy moods and want you guys to help me out. When we get together we tend to get what we want, so lets make a list and start hastleing people for parts.

We've got intakes, headers, and exhaust systems.

Nitrous is looking very promising and if WC and others stay on top of the turbo we'll have that done too.

Crower is swearing that we'll have cams soon so I think we can check that off the list.

So what's our next goal? We need a list. And <B><U>EVERYONE</U></B> needs to call, e-mail and complain to each company for the part that we pick and we can't get tired of bugging them until we get what we want!

I say the list should consist of:
1. piston heads
2. piston rods
3. intake manifold
4. head gasket
5. titanium valves/valve springs

<B>Please</B> add to this list and then lets take a vote. I'm sure that there are a few of you who have a better idea of stuff to beg for. So start listing!

I'm concerned with being able to run this car and it breathe and run more efficiently.

well there is already a Valvetrian Package out there that Trial is able to get you, and well they also have a stroker kit if are interested..compression is 13:1 i think but replace the pistons with some wiesco pistons to bring the compression down for boost, it may be a good combo???

Titan had an intake manifold? Hmmm... That one I don't know about.

I think JE Pistons, and Edelbrock might be where we start for the pistons and rods.

I'll see what Skunk2 has to offer us in the intake manifold area.

Okay. David said that JE pistons should be working on internals for us. I'm still gonna call from time to time.

I'm still gonna talk to Skunk2 and Edelbrock. I hope I'm not the only one who does.

The intake from titan is a stock intake with a chrome (i belieave exterior) nothing performance wise. it si all show and i think it was 600 bucks.

I want an intake manifold personally. But the stock one holds up pretty well as it is. I think our main concern is that we need stronger internals. Badly...

I want internals as well, but not a stroker kit. A stroker kit wouldnt be the best idea to go with for those of us who are turboing our GT's.

I didn't think we could use new pistons on a non-brand new engine because of that fiber matrix in the cylider wall, which supposedly doesn't allow honeing or over boring.

Is there another option?

Aparently you can because TRD has new pistons and stuff for the GT-S. But alot of us are looking at getting GT parts made because we have that turbo kit coming. And the MR2 has a turbo and the same engine. There's two cars with one aplication. Not to mention the Pontiac Vibe, Toyota Matrix and Corolla S that share the GT's engine.

Rods and Pistons are available already. They just take a few weeks to get them.
