dude, what color was that guy with the VIS c-one copy kit? i saw a silver one on the freeway today. missed the front but the sides and rear were definitely c-one. had carbon fiber APC tails too.

silver also. Damn VIS. You can tell from the rear. The JDM one like mine only has tabs to bolt into that black piece, while the VIS and copy from Canada slip right over it.

someone PM'd me and asked if I'd ship my lip to them so they could make a mold of it and copy it... they said they'd pay me, I said HELL NO. ;) If it happens I'm gonna be fully pissed.

Someone was selling what they toted to be a JDM C-ONE kit once on e-bay and I ragged him until he admitted it was a copy. The bid had already gone up past $1200. He closed the auction, but I dunno if he sold it as he claimed or what. That's pretty uncool if you ask me.

btw, is that guy still running around with his kit unpainted? Last I heard it was still primered yellow. Wooyun says he has a Buddy Club front. Daniel told me the VIS copy front-end didn't fit at all so it had to be sent back.

it was painted, and i thought the rear was kinda different lookin, now it makes sense. the black strip on the bumper was gone. must be VIS like you said.

the pics I've seen online of the kit sold in Canada show that the rear isn't really straight either. One side was slightly crooked, while mine is a perfect fit. Plus the JDM rear comes with the weatherstripping.

Still, if you don't know jack, they'd look exactly the same to most ppl.

how much did you pay for the lip again? i dont see why people cant just buy the lip then make copies. it would sell pretty good i think.

I think it was supposed to be like $400 shipped? Forget because I threw it all in and just got the kit all one time, and of course I got it shipped free. But shhhhhh!! Don't give anyone any ideas. Sucks already that there's a VIS copy of the rest of the kit out. :(

I'd like to see if they end up coming out with a VIS Trial kit.
