There was as story in the local paper a few years back about someone who wanted "SEXISOK" on his NY vanity plates but it was denied by the NY DMV.

He got a lawyer who simply asked the the DMV and the state of NY this question :
"Is it the official position of NY state that sex is not OK?"

He was issued the SEXISOK plates! :D

I always liked the old standby:

Custome plates cost like $60 in most states I think. It varies from state to state. Its cheap 'cause we have our prisoners stamp em for us :)

I get the feeling being ripped off again, cheapest plates here are 400$, and then you only get 3 letters of your choise behind the4 letters that show age of car and place of registration. It sux

Here in AZ you have to pay 25 bucks a year for your plates on top of your registration. Here is my license plate, and I just recently saw a new corvette with the plates of "U LOST"
