Got bored and tinted my headlights and taillights, Opinions welcomed :)

SWEET!! But illegal. That **** would get a fix-it ticket as soon as it left my driveway. It looks phat though.

yup dirty as can be, sucks living in an apartment complex with no external hose and not enough money to pay for a car wash hehe

just used model tint spray

does that come off the headlights somehow?
i like the tailights but liked the old style headlights you had before

yea, i like my old style headlights myself, i think, im not sure....

im kinda impartial to both, with the tint it looks like i dont have any headlights at all and at night witht the inside painted it looks like the headlights just come out of the body of the car

im sure some type of paint stripper can get it off, if not im stuck with it hehe, oh well, im going to try to decide what i want to od by this weekend... ill take a few more pictures (with my partially-painted interior), clean up my car, and put em up in readers rides this weekend

lol, I know, right? F$#@ing Virginia. Lights look awesome, but damn, can you see? They look super dark.

yea, i know about virginia...

tickets involving:
windshield banner
altered suspension
illegal lights
illegal turn signals
illegal tint

i got pulled at greenbriar one time for all of those, it did hamper my vision some, but ah well, i live in a well lit area :)

gt-sbaby - ooo your from VA beach, im going back home this weekend (Elizabeth City, NC) and making a trip up to suffolk/chesapeake/VA beach area... might see ya around :wiggle:

If he used Testors model paint, it probably won't come off. I did my tail lights and it stained the lenses. But that was with red. Don't know if the smoke will do the same.

was gettin my car my inspected and then the guy drove my car up on a curb and pushed up my bumper up and dented in the fender

What type of paint did you use, that's what I want to do to the inside of my housing? Was it testors also?

Headlights = bad. They were much better the way you had them before. Tinted taillights I like, but I would have tinted the reverse light as well. Also, the paint is really frosty looking. I've tinted motorcycle turnsignals the same way before. Its pretty hard to get a smooth coat on there.

im not sure what you mean by frosted

i didnt use testors paint, testors tint spray comes out grayish not black... i used the model tint spray with the checkered flag on the front im not sure of the name of it

nope, there is no law in north carolina about headlight/taillight covers, and unless the cop looks really close its the same as covers
