GT engine and tranny, anyone?

I am buying a wrecked 2000 Gt with 117k on it. The car is in excellent condition from the doors all the way to the front (untouched) the rear is hit bad. Anyone interested on parts from the engine bay let me know. Everything else I am using!

Dont ask for any body parts from the front since I will use these, things like
Fenders, hood, bumper cover, radiator, headlights are all mine. everything else will be up for sale....

This is just a feeler for now but will be solid by this week or next.

Where in PA are you? I need the sheet metal from the Passenger side strut tower to the front bumper. I bought a celica for $700 that was hit, I need this part.

Ok guys here is an update.

First I want to thank everyone for the interest and the many PM's...

Based on interest from here and other forums my price is as follows:

Engine and tranny = $1,200 cash you remove it..has 117,000 miles 5 speed
work done to top engine with paper work available, other wreck places want over $2500 for similar engines with more miles and no records....do some homework and you will see.

Passenger side sheet metal = $100 you bring your torch, cut it and remove

Drivers side wheel well $20 + shipping

Passenger axle $35 + shipping

More parts available on the engine bay if anyone needs them....

Car located in South Jersey so whoever gets the engine has to bring tools and travel to get it. Car is tarped so it is not just laying in the weather.

All parts sold as is! Engine is good and so is the tranny!

You and I been discussing about this but we have not come to firm terms yet (did I give you my word about this deal?...The answer is NO). I told you I will get back to you.

I got a better offer and the highest offer gets the engine, it is as simple as that.

Until someone comes up with the cash nothing is solid anyways so settle down, if the offer falls through you may get a chance to a price between that and your offer.

This is called dealing, nothing wrong with it. I am sure everyone on this board will agree with me since this is a FOR SALE section.

dealing with this guy is like dealing with a child. first you tell me 700 then less than a hr later u tell me 1200? he allegedly told me 1200 because someone offered him that, if someone offered you 1200 y is the engine still for sale? who is gonna pay 1200 for a motor with 117k on it? for that price i can get a 1zz with only 44-50k in nyc. deal with this guy at ur own risk, im pretty sure hes gonna try and raise prices on u guys.
