I was browsing through the vehicle services page at work and I just happen to browse through the 2003 Celica options list and they've added HID headlights as a factory option. Everything else, from what I've seen, has not changed. Could be a potential factory upgrade for owners of previous year Celicas. BTW, there was no pricing for it yet.

Hey Dyno Boy, are you looking at the Vehicle Services web page?

I was the one who posted that a few months back. The only new option is the HID's for the GT-S (only).

By the way:
Check out the colors: Spectra Blue becomes something new (a new name) and Yellow is added.

alright im going to save up to get the HID Housings!!! Dam screw an HID kit; the OEM HIDs are going to be 100x better in terms of beam pattern and light output (and the OEM color too). Now I wonder how much they will run... Audi S4 headlamps cost $500-$700

Yellow was imminent since it was being made in Canada and Yellow has become more popular here.

as for Spectra Blue Mica - do you mean it has a NEW name, or is it a different color all together?

Just to let you know Lexus LS headlights they charge $2,000 for their HID kits. But then we are not buying Lexus, how much is the Camry HID kit thats probably what we will be paying for OEM HID.

I wouldn't think that the headlamp housing would be different. Already it has a good beam pattern. Maybe something to lessen glare?

i hope this wont cost too much......but since its a dealer mod it probbaly going to cost alot

yeah i don't think they would change the housing either, but them charging an arm and a leg for the HID option is almost certain. but damn HID's look GOOD on celicas :) I absolutely love mine!

Yup, I was looking in Vehicle Services. I didn't realize it was GT-S only though.

actually the celi beam pattern could be better. tehre are hot spots and major overlappage of the beams. a factory HID system has to be VERY clean, wide beam, even, sharp cutoff, no UFO circles.
