dude.. tat car ish worth it.. i would so get it if i had the money...parting it out also is a side pocket of money .. you mite even half of your money back also if parting it out..

i kinda really want it too. i know i have 01 gts but its auto and its in really great condition and low miles.. i want to keep it that way. with this salvaged car its gts and 6 spd which i really want. i want it as my daily driver like use it 4-5\7 days a week. too bad that salvaged one isn't liquid silver .

Ya I would check carfax. It looks like it's in excellent condition so the fact that there is a salvage title screams sketch to me.

With that said I also would want the strut/spring combo and the camber plates.

Car looks like it is in great shape. carfax it before you buy it though. see if you can take it to a shop and have them check it over as well. for a salvage it could have been a bad wreck or something fairly small. If the car is in good shape I think 5,000 for it is still a pretty decent deal.

that being said I don't think you should buy it if you re just going to part it out. Unless you have an empty garage an engine hoist and lots of extra space it would just be a pain, plus the car is still driveable. no sense in taking a perfectly good celica off the road. you could probably make your money back on the car if you part it out but parting a car out can take months or even years to get rid of everything.

i agree bro, i dont want to part it out right away.. i want it to be my dd so i dont put so many miles on my Silver gts. And it would be really cool having two GTS's.. and as far as the parting out.. i wont part it out until its broken down.. or other stuff.

^^^thats what i would do. the car looks good. if it ever turned into a lemon you really wouldn't lose much if anything if you do part it out. hell if it turned out to be a great car i would just drive that till it died.
