I'm thinking about sending my 2000 gt-s gauge cluster to Dooley to get the whole thing customized and i was wondering if you lose your milage count if you unplug your gauge cluster....has this happened to anybody?
It will come back w/the mileage on it that you sent it out with. It is stored in the cluster.

You will be fine. Nothing will be lost doing an LED and gauge face upgrade.

Yeah! the car will start without it. The only thing would be that when you put the cluster back on. Your going to have the check engine light on. That's just cause of you driving without it. Just disconnect the positive cable from the battery for like 15 seconds. It will reset it.

Yeah! When Dooly did my gauges, I had to drive it like that for a little while. I had no problems.

No, if you put another cluster in you will get what ever milage is on that cluster.

So you could drive without the cluster then sell the car with low mileage. Odo fraud ftw lol.
