what realy suck is that there is almost no diffrence between the GT and GTS body style except for the 16 wheel. i think toyota should have changed the body style a little like BMW with M3. what do you think guys

you can always tell a GT from GTS by the rear brakes, lots of people put 16s on their GT, but not many install rear disc brakes....

I think toyota should have put the triptronic trans in the GT and made the GTS manual only.

i know dude. but its not something abvious like double exhaust on a gt mustang. i just think they could have did something worth the extra $4000 that we paid.

smart asses. if its all about HP. for $4000 i could a turbo kit and do work on it that will make a GT smoke a GTS.

Not to mention the options available on a GTS that you cant get on a GT, as well as the brakes (which are really showing to be some of the best available), and a 6 speed tranny. I will say that you guys should have gotten an LSD though.

Damn GT-S owners! quit your bitchin! lol Ya'll got it good...leather wrapped steering wheel, rear disk breaks, nice 16's, opt. leather seats, 40hp that hits like nitros, 8300 redline, Good Looking engine bay, and an engine that is dieing to fall apart! :D lucky bastards!!

Umm...you can distinguish a GT from GT-S from the badges, not to mention the rims and brakes.

I say turbo, 4WD, and standard action package.
Would be really really awesome

Actually, the 16" rims are not standard for the GTS, they just all come with them because it is assumed that every one will want them. You can get a GTS with the same wheels that come with the GT.

The only way you can tell mine apart from a GT-S is the rear drums!! There is no other way on my car unless you pop the hood. I get "How fast is your GT-S?" all the time.

who really cares most people debadge and change their wheel's just so you can't tell. as far as 40hp and a 6spd for 4grand I wouldn't call that a deal. you get higher ins premiums and could have added the 40 hp for a grand or added a turbo for 3 grand disc break rear kit is 600 so you could have put together a gts killer and saved your self 400$ plus the ins difference every month. the extra gears is nice on the highways but when you hear how many people have miss shifted them I don't find it worth while. I have a 2000 problem free celica gt on time is in the shop is oil changes and any custom work I decide to do

Standard action package? No.

I've seen enough old ladies driving around in action packages to make me sick. We don't need any more of them.

Yeah Baldhead, but I am with a different insurance company and I have total (expensive) coverage. So it came out to a $3,000 a year difference for me.

P.S. I am also 19 :)
