I think everyone should be prosecuted equally.
Law enforcement is all politics.

LMAO. She must of saw the tears in his eyes when he got home, or maybe the cop made her come pick him up as penalty.

75 in a 45 :shrugs:
I dont care who you are or who you are related to. You should have gotten a ticket. Only time I would say differently is if it somehow went from 65 to 45 but that is very doubtful unless it was like a construction zone.

75 in a 45. should have gotten a ticket but didn't. count yourself lucky, learn your lesson, drive on.

deff. count yourself lucky. they passed a local law here, 30mph over the speed limit, its straight to jail(something about it being considered an automatic public endangerment). use this as a lesson to drive better

unless im on a bike, i dont even see a reason why you should 'accidentally' even get to that far over the limit. lol geez dude. that was dumb, pleeeeease dont do that again! lucky, but sheesh, ease up off the gas!

Only way I can think this was accidental was if the cop was sitting in a construction zone and got him when on the highway it goes form 65 to 45

it was on a back road, it was a straight stretch that little to no traffic ever drives on. it was 1 in the morning, and its fun to go fast on that road, not smart, but fun. and i wanted lift. can't believe there was even a cop back there. but i have definitely learned my lesson. ive been driving like a granny now lol.

cop was probably trying to sleep and you woke him up. lol

jail time for speeding? thats brutal.
if your gonna speed atleast keep it on highways were its less likely for some kid to run out in the street or anything like that. i could understand maybe 10 over the limit but 45mph zones are usually residencial areas. for shame.

not to mention speeding at night is asking for trouble. reason we dont do it over here? 180lb. javelinas (kinda like a wild boar) that absolutely destroy cars when you hit them

jail time for speeding? thats brutal.
x2
lol jail time for speeding, u would never get jail time for speeding here even if u were going 300 kmh in a 50 zone in ur gallardo, only if u were to hit and kill someone would u maybe get jail time, even then its a maybe, but as h8 says
for shame

damn you're lucky...i believe 25 over the speed limit here is considered wreckless driving and public endangerment, and they can take you to jail.

Yup, here 40km/h over (40 / 1.6 = 25mph) is considered Street Racing (dont ask how they came up with that) and they impound your car and you lose your license.

Ah, professional courtesy.
Like so many others, I'm going to say you deserved that ticket.
75 in a 45 is enough to get you a sentence where I'm from.
Glad you learned your lesson ;)

Its not enough to get a sentence here in KY either. What part are you from, because if you are just another dumb*** that doesn't know how to drive around here i am going to be pissed.
If I pulled you over you would of gotten a ticket. Lucky break for you, the only way that you can be sure to not get pulled over again for speeding is to stop speeding.

biggest ticked i got was 18 over the speed, it was a 35 mph limit and it had changed to 25 mph and i was slow to react and entered little to fast. Paid the price and i'm not speeding since

Well that isnt as bad as me running from state police going 130 or more and only getting a reckless operation and not even taken to jail. And going 91 in a 55 then knocked down to a regular speeding ticket. I admit my younger days I did some dumb stuff but it was fun and never regret a thing I did. I have slowed down but caught a charge this past year on something I didnt even do so the karma came back to me just in another form. It just depends on who is in that cop car when they pull you over and how you act towards them really.
