Well what you can do and this will solve it for now. Go to your local parts store and get two things of caliper paint. One in black for the center part of the rotor and another in a diff color for the calipers and once the paint is on youll no longer have the rust issue

..or you can get new rotors. theres some inexpensive (drilled/slotted)ones out there with the center already in black(other colors). and some painted calipers will look nice with new wheels.

So kind of a noob question to follow it up. If i should just paint them how hard is it to take the caliper off of could i just paint it while its on there? Same question for the rotor.:shrugs:

Its not hard at all. Theres 2 bolts for each caliper and once you have those out the caliper can be moved so you can paint it with the caliper paint kit. Just follow the instructions and itll look good and last a while. once the caliper is off the rotors may or may not come off by hand. When i changed mine i had to use air tools and bolts to remove mine lol.

So do you think the paint will stay on there even with all the rust??? Should i prime it first or use some of that adhesive stuff or just paint it?

Not sure if it will. You may need to sand the rust off first. The caliper paint kit comes with a cleaner but dont believe it works on rusted areas.

make sure you get paint that can handle some heat for the rotors.... if not it will burn away
