i have decided to paint my calipers and am not sure which color i should go with. i have a spec blue and also plan on painting the rims gold or bronze. opinions on color of calipers?

Is it good enough to just sand down the wheels with 400 grits sandpaper, and then prime, paint, and clear coat?

Please paint your rims bronze. Aside from professional paint jobs, I have never seen a person paint their rims gold, and it turn out looking good. This is because companies use special paint colors, not off the shelve mixes. And with that combination I would go with a metallic silver.

I would recommend powdercoating over painting. If you do paint, at least dissasemble calipers before painting them.

yea i think im going to go with black calipers and bronze rims. spring break is the end of next month so i will be doing it that week. will post pics when done.
