Pricing of the new car checks in at $2,300 over the standard tC's base price of $17,000 in manual guise, or $17,800 in automatic trim. The car will feature a 'Toyota Racing Development (TRD) theme' and be limited to just 2,000 examples.

Gloss black exterior paint and TRD exterior badging mark the primary exterior appearance changes while TRD 18in matte black wheels with red trim, TRD lowering springs, a TRD rear sway bar and TRD sport muffler offer improved handling and performance. Inside, the tC RS 5.0 gets a black leather steering wheel with red stitching, black seats with red accents and TRD-logo floormats.

TRD offered almost the same as in the Celica.....im glad to know TRD still wants to upgrade cars and such

eh looks nice but its still the same tC underneath. all these limited edition scions are a dime a dozen, i'll pass.

same bolt pattern, and the celica can be fitted with the stock tC wheels so I don't see why not :D

I like OEM "after-market" parts and the biggest selling point of this tC is that it has most of the TRD goodies already on there -- which is why I like it. Trying to get TRD parts for the Celica was a pain in the a$$ back when I wanted those parts.

It would be a better deal if it came standard with the TRD supercharger at the very least.

I mean the bloody European people get a Supercharged Corrolla done by TTE, TRD sells a Supercharged Aurion in Australia, and TTE even makes a turbo kit for the MR2 Spyder. Why can't they sell a car tuned direct from TRD with the Supercharger as the final package in the USA.

Oh and those wheels look very similar to the ones off of the TRD Aurion in Australia.
