Ok, I read 2way's stock bulb info sticky and I'm having problem with the Front Turn Signal bulb...

In his sticky:
http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=290799
it says the Front Turn Signal bulb is 1156, so I got on a website and bought two 1156 LED bulbs. After getting them I go to install them and they don't fit... The new bulbs I received have two pins on the sides of the mount that are offset 180 degrees, and the ones I took out of my car are offset 120 degrees... So, I do some 'research' and find out that the 1156 and 7507 are very similar, the only difference seems to be the offset and maybe power requirements...

Is there any way I can buy a new mount and make the 1156 bulbs I got work?!??! I just really don't want to have to send them back. Also, they have 1156 bulbs in every color under the sun and the 7507 bulbs only come in white... being a turn signal, I kind of need it to be amber.

Any help or comments are appreciated.

Sorry for the double-post...

Guess it helps to read around the forums a bit, but still one question. I can shave off one of the bumps on the side of the bulb and make the 1156 I got fit in my 7507 socket... will it blink the same, faster, or maybe not at all?!?! I don't want to 'modify' the bulb if it isn't going to work and not be able to send it back.

I sanded the one little nipple down smooth and my bulbs work just fine.

Ok, I sanded one down and put it in my car. It works, but it is a fast-blinker now... Oddly enough though, it only fast-blinks when I signal... When I turn my emergency lights on it blinks slowly with the other side...

Anybody know of a way to fix this?

Load resistors or replace the flasher.
