How much did y'all pay for your window tinting?? Many of the shops around are asking 190-260 for the job, and they will only go about 25% (27 is state law), think that'll be too light?

Too light for what?
You do want to be able to see out while driving......right?

i think thatll be fine, i think 35% is considered medium tint, 15% dark and 5% limo
i payed 120 for mine, all 5 windows (minus front) in southn cali, in norther cali i was going to pay 170-200

I got 20% on all 5. It loooks awsome. I paid 50 it. I did most of it myself. but the 50 bucks paid for the beer and the Tint. It would of costed me 190 dollars at the local shop

Wow. That is expensive even if it is lifetime warranty. 25% should be fine, but check the state laws on the min.

I work at an automotive accessory store and I got a custom red mirror tint job for $50. But thats is only because i work here normally that would have run me $350. So yeah youre getting a good deal.
well i just made a appiontment with 20% all around tints for 155 plus the stripe on the front window

15% on five windows for $170. Delaware requires a medical waiver to get the front two done so I went to my eye doctor with the waiver and he signed it with no questions, then I dropped it off at the DMV for their records. It took about a week to get accustomed to night driving but now I don't think about it.
Go by the state law of 27% and you'll have peace of mind. Go darker and take a chance if you choose.

Personally I think 20% is the perfect darkness. It's not too dark so that you can't see out the windows at night time, but it's just dark enough that you have to really try to look through it to see anything inside the car.
The legal limit differs from state to state, but normally, it's around 27%-35% for the legal... I've got 35%, but I personally think it's too light... I want to switch to 20%! But yeah, I would think anything under $200 for <25% is a great deal... My buddies (one with a Celica, Civic HB, Integra) all got 20% done for $200 even... on my friend's Jetta 20% was $220 (since it has 4 doors) and mine was $190 (35%) for 4 doors.

I'm planning on 5% all the way around and 35% front windshield....
Those regular store charge 250-320.. since it's going against the regulation.. what a BS..
Gona find some less legit store or person.... but films gona be metallic so that it won't bubble or fade....
In Las Vegas.. darker the better... LOL
Friend of mine has 5% all the way around and I can see at night time...
