Hello fellow Celica owners. I'm sure someone here must have experienced my problem at hand. I have searched through the forums and seen what methods are advised for removing the emblems, I did so, but now on the GT side of my car, there is thick residue remaining. So far I have tried:
Hairdryer then removal
WD40
Rubbing Alchol
and a Bumper Sticker Remover Spray...
Yet the residue still remains, does anyone have any ideas as to how I can remove this with minimal damage to my paint?
Also, once I get the last pieces off, what is the best way to restore the paint chips underneath?

they didnt carry it at discount auto parts, maybe autozone or nappa?
Edit: could order it off amazon, but dont want to let this stuff sit on my baby for too long like this, looks ugly!

if all else fails, go to a sign shop and have them remove it for you. they have the industrial strength adhesive remover that doesn't damage paint.

Go to a paint store and get some Oops. The stuff is safe on paint and puts goo gone to shame. If you can't find Oops get some 3M adhesive remover.

+1 on the Goo Gone. Just be careful when you use it to not let it sit on the paint to long. I heard of people thinking they could just spray and wipe and it actually ate away their paint. Good luck. I just used some fishing line and my nails and ripped all my residue off.
