got my nx kit installed yesterday

Got it installed and got a bottle heater and bottle guage for only $1200, i guess thats a pretty good deal. I havent got to try it out yet because its too wet here, its been raining alot, im actually kind of scared to use it, i dont know what to exspect, ive never been in anything with nitrous. I also bought the apexi s-afc and it is going to get installed and tuned tommorow. There going to run my car on the dyno without both first and then run it again with the apexi tuned and with nitrous. i hope for atleast 260 hp not including 15% drive train loss.

260hp what motor and how big a shot are you runnin? you can use it in the rain nuthin to be scurred about its just nitrous.

I hope that your piston doesn't fly through the 2ZZ block, right into the firewall, and then into your lap.

Warn the Dyno jet guys to watch out for shrapnel...

A 50 shot of N20 is really the max you want to put on the Celica without building up the motor...which you really can't do just yet. I have heard of guys run 75 shots...but not for long.

Did you do anything to the internals? Just curious 'cause I've been talking with one of the engineers at NX and he said he's set up several 75 shot GT-S's with no problems. I was thinking about raising my shot from 50 to 75

I put 210 to the wheels with the 50shot which is about 240hp at the crank, I dont see why the 75 wouldnt do 260...

Also...two very important things....

1.) always keep on top of your nitrous system, especially the Fuel side...Make sure the fuel solinoid is getting fuel, power and make sure that fuel is making it to the fogger...

2.) After every few runs(3, 4 tops), check your plugs, regap and check for signs of running lean

i got one for the guys running 75shots or who plan on running 75 shots.. do a compression test before you ever run nitrous and do it again after 10 bottles.. im really curious to see if you start to lose compression from bunrt rings
