I went down to Toyota today and tried to have them look up this plastic insert that they used for the GPS or TV setup they have directly above the radio. They couldnt find a part number for it. If anyone out there can get the # please tell me. By the way I got this picture off of Japans Toyota website (requires some translating to move around on that site) Oh yeah just out of curiosity, what is that extra button on the electric mirror switches?

It's for parking in the very small spaces of Japan.

Guys I can tell you, cos' I am driving a Japanese Celica.
The button is for locking the two doors simultaneously. On the right side below the handle there is a switch to fold the mirrors.
As for the center console, it's nice looking too. The small screen above the air-con dial shows the temperature and airflow directions.

Yeah I have that Jspec center console thing. I got it from my relatives in Japan. Sorry, I don't know what the item # is. They took care of all that paperwork and junk. Here's what it looked like when i got it, and afterwards.

Here's the prototype

But sorry I don't have the finished look in the car. I am wiring up some EL sheets and some LEDs to make it look presentable when it is off.

I wish we could use their AC stuff too. They always get the cool stuff. :(

These stuff justifies how much more expensive their Celicas compare to ours, so they do not get busted by our government by selling cheaper to us than their own country. This law is to protect Domestic Market from unfair competition.
