hey.....I was wondering if it is possible 2 get a larger rear end for faster off the line speed, my dad owned a AAR Cuda and he replaced his with a larger one & he said it added 15 ponies too his starting speed, if any one knows more about swapping the rear end then leave me one~

no the the celica has front wheel drive so no rear gear but you might be able to have some gears custom made....i see your from pa what part near pittsburgh?

ya cant talk like that
gearing does not give ya HP

dont think any1 makes drive gears for our differential
would have to be custom

bigger numbers give ya a different multiplication
3.00 for example
this means that for every 3 rotations of the drive shaft there is one full wheel rotation. (correct me if im wrong)
SO if you go with 4.11's you will see much better accelerations numbers......while at the same time sacrificing top speed.

if i am correct we have 4.59 gear ratio in the celi for the gt-s but for the gt i am not sure. and Twanmoney you are correct nobody makes gear for our cars. if you have a gt-s and are getting a custom final drive you will still have a hard time landing lift but you could get 1st and 2nd custom made at the same time and that would be sweeet.
