I got my oil changed yesterday at Toyota of Tampa Bay. They recommended I get induction and EFI services ($80 ea). I just hit 85,000 miles yesterday. What are these two services? (I'm pretty sure I've done them before, but probably a few thousand miles ago) What do they do? How often should they be done? I couldn't find anything specific in the maintenance sections, and all the search results are for people w/ problems with these components. answers are appreciated.

if I'm not mistaking is to clean the intake...well cleans the head, and the fuel system, the put in some chemicals, like seafoam, and turn the car on and it will be smoking for about 30 mins while it's cleaning everything out

X1! Never pay a stealership to do basic maintenance.

Seafoam can be had for about $5-8 a can, and can do just about the same thing. Finish it off by hitting up your throttle body and intake manifold with carb cleaner and a rag. You can also yank your injectors and send them to WitchHunter if they're getting old.

I am unable to anything after seafoam (and I'm iffy on the seafoam). Not that I wouldn't like to be more mechanically proficient, I just don't have the time or patience. I have no problem paying someone to do if for me. If its the "stealership" than so be it.
I just don't know what it is they're trying to accomplish. What are these two things: Induction and EFI? (amazing I've survived this long!)

Induction = air intake system (air filter to intake manifold).
EFI = Electronic Fuel Injection (fuel injectors, sensors, and lotsa wiring).
Seriously, you just need to have 15 min to spare. Pop the hood, get a small vacuum hose from the intake manifold or throttle body and stick it in the can of Seafoam while the car's on. You'll need to pull the throttle cable to stabilize idle. Do that for like 1/3 of the can or so, pulling the hose out for a second or two if the car's gonna stall. Once the 1/3 of the can is gone, let the car stall out and sit for 10 min. Put the hose back, start the car (it'll take a few tries till the Seafoam is gone), and then run it hard for like 20 seconds. Once the smokescreen is gone, the intake system is mostly clean. Then just dump the rest into your gas tank (1/2 to full tank) to clean the injectors.
