So yea i posted on this weekend my transmission throwing out of 3rd wen i shift into it so i took it to toyota and luky me everything is covered in waranty... so tomaro i get to see wut labor will cost me
FYI i purchased a new tranny and clutch from toyota last october... put only 6k miles on it and now its giving me trouble... (installed thru sumone else so i still have to cover 700$ labor)
ouch ... good luck buddy :S at least the part's are covered, altho labor is probably going to cost so much more than the parts needed.

Labor is a lot better then buying a whole new trans.

hahaha... ok so heres the full story. back in october my transmission finally pooped out on me. (it was syncros from the last retard who owned it) to find out the problem i took it to sum tranny show near where i live. so that cost 500 labor jus to take out and find the problem... we desided to buy a brand new clutch/tranny (total of 3500$) from toyota (cuzz it would have been 100 more to get it rebuilt) so cuzz we already were 500 in with this guy we desided to jus have him install the new one. so anywho jus this past weekend im driving and all of the sudden wen i shift to 3rd gear it throws it out of gear... we took it to toyota and they desided to cover it with the warantee even tho we had sumone else install. so today after toyota has it out and stuff they tell me that the problem was that whoever installed it broke a seal where the driveaxle comes in and apparently i had 0% oil in my tranny... HAHAHA so anyways luky me is right cuzz they could have jus said "oh well u had it installed wrong and parts arent our fault" so yea im blessed.
