View Full Version : Just talked to Toyota Service regarding my CEL

Ever since Toyota gave me a new block I have had a CEL. I dropped it off this morning and they finally figured out what the problem was. They said they found a metal shard in my cam shaft that was preventing my VVTi from working! LOL they will have the parts ready for Tuesday and will be fixing it under warranty. I wonder if this was affecting my performance at the track... hm.. I doubt it was hurting much, but I guess we'll see.

Damn.. Don't they inspect the parts before they install them?
