June 22nd the night of our celica meet in Tucson...
I killed my clutch on speedway cruzin. wasn't racing anyone took a U-turn and took off. then I noticed in every gear my rpmz rapidly went up to 5-6k then my clutch caught up. :(

I took my celi into Toyota. (Ok clutch and brakes aren't covered in warranty) at 7700miles that's not right... yeah that is low I

take it to a different dealer also.
they should cover it at that many miles.
this is the second clutch that this happened too right?

They should cover it. That would take a **** load of drag runs to make it go out at the many miles. take it to another dealership. And yes your synchros are going bad, and eventully they will need to be replaced, or new transmission. Trust me, this I know.

hate to say it, but you're SOL

you can expect a repair order of $600 minimum from the dealership. (you'll be paying 6 hours of labor).

Might just go ahead and put a heavier duty aftermarket clutch in.

the Funny thing is first they didn't open and look at the clutch they saw my Injen CAI and called it an after market manifold "lol i told him that is stock monifold and pointed this is a stock monifold it came with the car. and he said oh yeah i ment you intake haha"and Racing aftermarket exaust and test drove it and assumed because i have after market parts that i race it... and power shift HAH first i barly know what power/speed shifting is. and no way in hell would i do that to my car/clutch the service here at presicion toyota is no good.

i wouldn't stand for that sh*t.
take it somewhere else...
if they replaced two clutches in that many miles they most likely screwed something up putting it back together.
no matter if you raced it dropping the clutch at 6k for the time it took to get you to that little miles you have your clutch should be holding up pretty good...

I would get a hold of Toyota and tell them what they said to you that is BS they should be replacing it. no questions last I checked the intake and exhaust had crap todo with the clutch. and unless they have seen you race they are just assuming which we all know is not the way to run a business

HAHA omg they said i had a ofter market manifold omg that's soo funny yet makes me soo mad... what they ment i guess after arguing with him that an intake isn't a manifold there is intake manifold and exhuast manifold but those are bone stock. see what i'm dealing with here =P

I can destroy a clutch in 5 mins if I want to. Mileage of the car has nothing to do with acceleratled wear on clutch.

you can destroy a cltch in 5 minutes by sitting on gas w/ clutch half in. That'll burn it up in no time. But racing/driving, and I'm saying racing can't kill it that quick.

at what miles did you get this clutch?
you've had two in the 7000 miles life of your car right?
i think they're at fault still.
why did they replace the clutch the first time?

no this is my first clutch i've gone in for clutch problem b4 but they did nothing just said my alumium billet floor mats was causing my clutch from being compressed all the way... (somthing like that) the whole time i ask myself what the hell are they talking about soo i took it out replaced it with old floormat... yeah i'm stupid and should have taken care of it then... kinda reminds me of getting my first ticket and i didn't ask to look at the radar gun stupid newb mistakes
