this is the info i got from the seller he wants 2200.00

LauSan,

I have an 1986 AE86 coupe for sale with JDM non-egr blue top. I'm not sure
what you're intention with the vehicle if it's going to be a street car or a
race car. Right now, it does not have any emission stuff since the motor I
installed is a JDM non-egr blue top 4ag. I can install everything back of
needed.

The car have a twicked struts and new KYB short stroke rear shocks, rear
springs where cut to accommodate the short shocks and made the ride height
is leveled with the front. I have a pioneer cd player with 35w per channel
in it with 100 w amplified bazooka and a 60w rear speakers and 40w front.
The rest of the interior are stock and black and gray, it does have a crack
on the dashboard. I have a brown dash from my race car that I nicked about
the size of a pencil eraser that can be painted black to match the black
interior.

The exhaust have a slight leak that I'm going to install OEM Toyota exhaust
to make it quieter and enjoy hearing the TVIS kick in. Right now, I have
2.25 inch piping with dynomax bullet race muffler and dynomax super turbo
muffler. All parts that I use in this car up to the last bolt are OEM
Toyota parts only and always uses Mobil 1 synthetic oil.

jotan82, didnt test drive it..thats what scares me. Im basicly buying it and having it shipped here to Germany. He also wrote this.

Since
you're in Germany, you don't need any emission add-on for the age of the
car. I'll have all the egr and other stuff in the trunk, you'll need it
when you bring it back to the states.

Oh, I forgot to mentioned that the clutch is a six puck spring loaded racing
clutch, so it's noisier than OEM. You can also convert it to map sensor,
just go to your local junkyard and pull the harness and ecu and sensors and
you're all set.

I have an HKS rev cut, that eliminate the revlimiter, just incase you decide
to replace the ecu with a map sensor type. $400.00 is my asking price, HKS
does not make it anymore and It was $800.00 when I got it a few years ago
and it only had 60 minutes total run time with my old setup.

I would love to have one of these.

Do you have any friends in the nearby area of where this thing is being sold? I live in MN if you need any help.

It's a tough call, but with a car as "old" as that, you can probably expect it to be in less than perfect shape. Especially with performance mods added.

It's so sad, I look all over for one and I saw some old old lady driving one the other day ...

That price is a little high I would not pay more than $1600, and that is only cause of the potential of the car. His so called mods are minimal at best certainly not 2200 worth. Now if there was a silver or black top 4Age in there then maybe he could squeeze the extra couple of hundred off someone. The car has a goldmine list of go fast goodies but besides his suspension he has not taken advantage of the aftermarket at all really. 2200 is a high price just really depends on how bad you really want the car.(Talk the price down).

looking foward to seeing it. Now i have my eyes on a old gen rx7. I saw it yesterday. The guy only wants 800 for it, because it got left over here by a soldier that went back to the states. Cranked it up and everything seemed in order...hmmmm
