??? As far as I know they're among the best tires.

Maybe it depends on what you mean by daily driving. You mean racing?

Bridgestone S-03's are exceptional on wet roads.

ok i broke it down to two and i am considering either the bridgestone s-03's ($177/tire) or the yokohama parada spec 2 ($155/tire). by daily driving i mean just commuting. i use my car as a daily driver (40 miles/day), mainly highway driving in/out of san francisco and berkeley. is the s-03's worth the extra $90 compared to the yokohama's? i've heard good reviews for both tires.

i would not go with parada's. S0-3's are one of the best tires you can buy for performance. If all you do is drive 40 miles a day on the highway and do not race your car a lot i would look into getting some other tires. what size tire are you looking for? because i found the S0-3's for 127 at tirerack.com for 205-50-16

kkrkeith, im looking for 225/40/18. what tires would u suggest? i heard the kumhos ecstas 712's are a good bang for its buck ($115 each at tirerack.com). the s-03's are a little too much for me, and since im not going for high performance its not practical. i just want something that wont make too much road noise, wont slip in wet/dry conditions, and will last atleast 2 years. if i can save some money, looks doesnt matter to me.

yup it sounds like your going to want to go with the 712's or thorw out a tad bit more cash for more dry grip sumitomo HTR Z ll. Over all value it your don't do much high performance driving the 712 is a great value tire.

S-03 PP's are actually very quiet tires.
