I know for a fact that the 2002 GT-S are slower in comparison to 2001 GT-S because of the rev meter. But does this apply to the GT 5 speed? I have done a little research but I seemed to get mixed opinions most of the times. So did toyota change the rev meter for ALL 2002 Celicas or only the gt-s model? Thanks in advance.

It's called a rev limiter, and no the GT's weren't blowing up their engines so they didn't need to change the rev limiters. They were slow enough as is.
