I currently shoot with a Canon 40D. My lenses include 17-85 f/4-5.6 , 70-300 f/4-5.6, and a 50mm f/1.8.

These are all pretty old, as I haven't used my camera for quite some time now.

This shot was taken with a 35mm.

Another one using 35mm. This was in West Glacier park in Montana.

20D handheld with a cheap 300mm lens.

20D with the same crappy lens mentioned above. I saw this little guy one day while I was at work, so I decided to take a picture of him.

^that's pretty neat. is it a homemade softbox?

Sort of. I used just a standard clamp on light with reflector, a 150 watt bulb, and held a paper towel in front of the bulb. The background was white poster board. I then bounced light from a white display board from the opposite side of the light source to soften the shadows, and provide more detail.

I miss my 20D, it was stolen out of my apartment a few years ago. I was without a camera for about 2 years, at which point I bought the 40D. Once the weather gets a little bit better out here, I plan on actually getting out and taking more photos again. I'll post up some when I have some shots that I feel like sharing.

NICE 18x12 im always a afraid to print something that big that I took I feel that I'll get bored of it lol

Well if you use Mozilla Firefox you could add an Add-On that is called EXIF ADD-ON
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3905
if that one does not work, it may be outdated but there are new versions of it you could get. Its pretty neat, just right click, select EXIF data and all that data is there :)
as long as they didnt block the exif data

Yep, got it about a month ago. Today was the first time that I used it though. Thank you, I liked the second one too! In the last photo, the sun was super harsh right in the middle. I don't really even know why I posted it... Except maybe I just wanted you to see what the place was like where I was shooting.

You'll have fun with it. Those shots would've been impossible without the ND filter. I'm using a ND4 which I believe is a 2 stop filter, and I still had to close my aperture all the way down to f/22 at ISO 100 to make the water smooth. I actually want to get a darker ND filter now, so I don't have to stack.
