last years meet was not so good. my hopes are high for this year. maybe the turn out will be better. we need to figure out something to do once we are ata sea side. usually the cool kids split up and do their own thing while everyone else is wandering the same parking arean aimlessly looking at the same cars.

last year i left early with xoxol, reddragon and turchino and hit the board walk for some food and cervezas. it was awesome.
i think we should do a cruise or something, the drive down and meeting at the rest stops is the best part of the meet.

possibly a turbo. Gonna be a lot of appearance mods though. I really wanted to do an engine swap with a newer motor before I go turbo though

I may put the turbo on it and when the engine finally dies just swap it in afterward. I have heard tunning a GT is easier then a GTS. I am putting the GTS tranny on it though so it should be good. When the time gets closer I am going to ask either put a new motor or just put the turbo on and deal with the motor later.
And h8eternal dont worry buddy. there will be some performance hopefully =p. As long as I get that raise I was promised and can keep working. Also would need to find a good tuner around here. Still torn between turbo and SC though. Because I will probably have another 2 years as this car as a DD and then it goes to weekend toy status =). Probably going to go turbo though and have some more fun ;)

i tried looking for a gts manual but i couldn't find the right one, i kinda rushed buying this celica because my preivous celica gt had a oil burning problem so i had to trade it in soon before it gets worse (hehe before the dealership notices the problem)

I'll never understand the point of dumping a$sloads of money into a car only to put it on the back of a trailer and never get to enjoy it. But whatever, to each his own.

alright guys, just figuring out how I am getting back up north after I graduate this early May. While I will be driving a Uhaul truck, my dad will be driving my civic and it looks like the celica will be getting VIP treatment and riding home in this :):

So my car will definitely be back in MA in time for the meet, it's a matter of me making sure I am free that day and being able to take borrow a friends trailer and my mom's SUV, so we'll see as time gets closer if I can make it or not.

don't put the 6spd on a 1zz, especially if you plan on going turbo. you don't need the shorter gears to land lift, because you don't have it. you'll also have a lot bigger and stronger powerband, so you'll want the 5spd instead.

Also, I don't think anyone makes the TRD supercharger anymore, let alone any sc kit for the 1zz...
