You're going to have to adjust your camber if you drop your car.

u got any pix? (side pix preferably)

yea i know... did u adjust it urself? i know theres a DIY guide on it but i wanna know if its worth doing it urself or paying someone to do it for u...

and whats the difference between adjusting camber and getting an alignment?

That was as much of a side picture as I have.

The rear camber was not adjusted at the time of picture.

Adjusting the camber yourself is not difficult, but you can't tell if you have it within spec for sure or not.

The alignment place is supposed to adjust the camber for you as well, but the place I went to (Firestone) decided they didn't want to touch the rear camber at all :shrugs:

I'm going back tomorrow to have them check if I have it adjusted correctly.

oh sry... ur picture didnt show up the first time (not even a red X) so i didnt know u posted on up. i see it now tho.

yea thats true tho. do u know around how much it would cost to get an alignment and a camber adjustment? i know different places have different prices, but i just want a ball-park price...

It's cuz I edited my post afterward to include the picture :gap:

I hear it's like 70-80 for single time alignment.

I got the lifetime from Firestone for $180...

I forgot and thought I paid $130 for it, which I told my friend. He went there and told the guy that he knows someone that got the lifetime for $130. So the Firestone guy said okay. So $130 is what my friend paid for the lifetime alignment.

I don't know. I guess I will find out tomorrow when I go back to Firestone.

They adjusted my front camber though. For some reason they didn't want to do the rear.

Well maybe because the rear camber bolt is a bit out of sight.

No I'm on KYB AGX's.

Mmm...I think it was Emocrab that had Hotchkis on stock shocks and he said the ride was horrible.

Might want to take that into consideration.

Well my ride was horrible with the AGX on the stiffest setting though (but you know how bad the 10 freeway is in our area :faint: ) but it's pretty decent now that it's on the softest setting.

**edit: You're not really in my area  For some reason I had you confused with someone in Rosemead.

ah i see. i wanna get a setup that wont involve getting shocks for a lil while at least but i know thats not gonna happen with the hotchkis springs. i know cocoajumpo was on stock shocks (idk if he still is) but he has s-techs tho. but i think im actually leaning torwards s-techs now cuz all this time i wanted that "even" look where the back was the same height as the front but i just noticed that i have alot of weight in the back cuz of my sub enclosure (easily over 100lbs) so it might bring it down a bit. i know its not gonna bring the back down drastically like a 1/2 inch, but ill live with what i have.

i know i have to get new shocks anyways if i get springs, but ill get them shortly after i get the springs after i get enough money for them. springs are manditory right now tho... s-techs wont wear out my shocks as quickly as hotchkis springs would (not the back anyways).

thnx for the help :) hope to see u around sometime. in what part of so cal do u live?

I think mrluilou is still on stock shocks with his Eibach Sportlines. It's been a while too I believe. So if you want lower drop...that should be fine.

I'm in Alhambra, where the 10 meets the 710.
