Seriously...not being able to edit :thumbdown
But speakers/tweeteres does not have holes in it, neither are the surrounds punctured/cracked. Only used for 6 months, then getting rid of my car

Driven by DEH-P860MP Deck amp and sounds way better than stock speakers

isnt the rms way higher than what a normal deck can pump out? im looking for a set of woofers, but ive heard underpowering speakers is worse than overpowering them... dont get me wrong, im interested still, just curious i guess.

good question. from what I know, the only possible way to damage your speakers with an undersized amp, is to push the amp beyond it's limits for an extnded period of time...as in cranking the volume really high. This will cause clipping/distortion. I never had to pump my volume up that high even when i'm in the highway w/ windows/sunroof open.
Just wanna say i've had these speakers for about a year now in my celica and they are probably the best audio upgrade i made. I ran them for a little while off the stock GTS amp and they worked/sounded fine with a avic-z2 HU. eventually upgraded to an alpine mrp-f450 amp (4x 75w rms @4ohms, 100 @ 2ohm) and they just got better. I listen to my music extremely loud all the time, and i have yet to have a problem with any of the speakers. For 60$, you cant go wrong. I've used other speakers before but after going through them all, I've found infinity to be the best (without spending 3x+ as much on speakers obviously)

where did you mount your crossovers? im really really interested. and for 80 bucks man thats a deal.
I have mine mounted directly to the door, right under where the stock tweeter mounted. Fits perfectly between the door/door panel.

theres enough room for it there and all your wires? must be a pretty big pocket? i should take my panels apart so i can see what your saying.
i haven't seen the inside of my door yet. i don't even now whats in there. i better look before i buy something.

i can vouch for the crossovers being able to fit in quite a few places behind the doors. i ran some speakers using the infinity crossovers from this kit just to improve the sound in my car and boy did it... id like this kit, just have to figure out how to justify buying it when i really dont have a ton of money to throw around lol and are these 60 or 80? i see two prices now in posts lol. thanks
