I know there is a TRD supercharger out. Does it fit the Celica GT-S? Does anyone have a Celica with it installed? Please post as much info on this cause I want one!

TRD has superchargers for the Pickup and Camry V-6 motors, the pickup V-8 motor and the pickup 4 cylinder motors.

none are available for the Celica, none will work with the celica without modifications.

They are still trying to get the American Spec ECU to let the car start.

Did you get that information from Blitz?

Does Anyone know if TRD has plans to release a sc for the gt-s.. TRD is great cus it holds the warrenty of the car and thier products are usually very well made. They really should take advantage of this void of aftermarket support for the celica.. They could make quite a bit of money.

I seem to remember about 1000 or so posts just like this one about two years ago... :D

FYI, TRD doesn't care a whole lot about the Celica. They just don't. "70% of our sales are for trucks", said one TRD bigwig. And given the fact the 8th generation Celica is due to be released in August of '03, I don't think this car will be their focus.

I'd say it's more likely they will focus on up and coming models, the Matrix, the 5th gen Supra, and maybe, maybe, the 5000GT when it's released in '04.

However, don't despair, GT-S F.I. parts are in development, so maybe by the time your warranty is up, you'll have a good option available to you.

Are you referring to the E.I.P. turbo kit and the Blitz SC for the GT-S or something else? Are you working on anything for the GT-S?

Referring to another project by another manufacturer....although the Blitz may be ready before that....

I've been asked not to get to deep into the details, but it's good stuff.

Hey, what did they do to that FJ40 in your sig? :)

Is this that turbo project you talked about in Nov./Dec. of last year? Or is it the Magnuson/Hotchkis s/c? Or another project entirely? Also, I thought you once said that TRD was coming out with a supercharger for the Celica GT eventually? Did those plans get scrapped?

It's a Filipino Jeepney! You know I never really thought about what it was underneath all that stuff!

After some light research it looks like they were converted US Military jeeps.

I'm charging you by the question :D

Not a turbo. I'm not telling. Reference answer #2. That sentence was a statement, not a question. Yes, they seem to have, despite the rather adamant claims to the contrary just a few months ago.

That'll be $12.50. Will that be Visa or Mastercard? :D

Ah, David, always a master of ambiguity. In any case, that sucks about TRD scrapping the s/c plans for th GT. Oh, and about charging me by the question, just put 'em on my tab (Please deduct charges from that statement I put a question mark at the end of).;)
