Well recently after i came back from a photoshoot with my celica, i was parked at school and when i came back i had a parking ticket for not displaying my placard. Granted it wasnt on the mirror but on the ticket it said " checked mirror, seats, console ..etc."

On the website it gave me to either pay it or fight it, i chose to fight it. I told them that i noticed the officer wrote down that he checked the mirrors, seats, console ..etc.. but if he had done so he would have seen my placard displayed in a position where it would be easily seen.

So i took a picture of my placard , gave them the serial number and told them i bought it since the beggning of the semester.

.. and today i got this email:

Cool.

I had over 7 parking tickets in the span of 3 months. Sold my car, left the regestration on and the guy was getting tickets on purpose and they were going in my name.

School parking tickets are a joke. At my school you go to the parking office to pay or say you are going to fight it. If you fight it you have to go to the student government meeting so they can hear your “case” and give a verdict on it. They treat it just like court but have no clue what the hell they are doing. I have fought every one of my tickets, 9 on my motorcycle and 3 in my car. I have still yet to pay a single one.

The pass is one that hangs on the rear view mirror. Two for car was for not properly displaying the pass. Instead of hanging down it was upside down because the sunshade would cover it up, however you could still read everything. The other one was for parking over the line, but it was line, 3 feet, curb. I straddle the line so I don’t get door dings.

The parking ladies know every motorcycle guy by name. they want us to use the same pass on our bike but where are we going to put it so it doesn’t get stolen? As long as you have the bike registered your good. Hell they ladies even wait till you have two or three so you don’t have to go to “court’ every other week.

^The only incentive you need for that is that you want one :gap:

700$ in parking tickets just in the fall semester for me. The best part? I paid an extra $100 for a pass that allows me to park in any lot.

For those that have been there I'm sure you by now know.... FVCK GEORGE MASON PARKING SERVICES!!!!
