which way to point them in a 7th gen celi?? right now they're pointing upward towards the glass... what's the best way?

it is all a matter of preference. i have them facing towards the trunk. just make sure you don't break your back window. some guys have already done that becuase there system was to loud.

yeah after some experimentation the box sounds best against the rear seats with the subs facing out towards the back

thats how i have mine too right now. the best would really be in the spare tire well pointing up. and then removing that cover. thta would really help move some air around. i feel like its kinda muffled pointing back but every way i've turned it it seems like that. oh well, i'll get it worked out soon, i'm going to probably make a smaller taller box that'll sit right behind the seats therefore giving more trunk space and pushing the speakers closer forward. that will give them more air and they won't be so close to the metal of the car.

i've got two tens facing the rear, and it sounds great inside, but outside it rattles the panels, if anyone has any suggestions...

The best sound i liked was the sub facing up against the rear hatch.
