Hey Sasha,

Have you had any reports from people running the FK451's on a Celica? Do they offer more grip than the Azenis ST115's?

I posted another thread on this very issue but did not get any interest.

The 451 is their max performance tire which will perform better than the 115.

You should also consider Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions. If they were available in Australia, I would buy them in a heart-beat.

I have heard the Falken GRBeta FK451's are very sticky and have excellent wet weather grip. Plus they seem quite cheap. I am thinking about giving them a go, but I am yet to hear a review from another Celica driver.

The Kumho 712's are supposed to be really good, but not quite as grippy in the dry as some of the others.

The other one I am interested in is the Pirelli PZero Nero which should be available in Australia in about a month (don't know about the US). They would be more expensive though. If they are original equipment on a Porsche Boxster, they must be alright!

DON'T get the new Dunlop FM901. They're pretty cheap and you know what you get with cheap things most of the time......crap quality. I've read about 5 different reviews and all they say is that it makes too much noise and the sidewalls are too "flimsy" that even after you turn it feels like you're shaking a little.

P.S. By the way I read these reviews at tirerack.com.

I would personally spend a little more money and get the S-03's. That's what I'm getting when it's time for me to get new tires.
