I took off the bumper to put in some ion yellow fogs and a grill. In the process of putting the bumper back on, there is this switch looking thing that may be the air bag sensor? Not sure where it connects to. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I can definitely tell you it's not an airbag sensor. Never seen anything like it.

Judging by the metal clip, it would go in between the black under plastic and the bottom of the bumper. Just a guess tho.

wickedpete:
Check the bumper removal instructions in my sig. Apparently you removed some extra stuff, so hopefully you'll remember what it was or where it went.

what kind of rear veiw mirror do you have... if you have the one thats auto dimming that looks like the temperature sensor...

I concluded that it was the temp sensor for the mirror, so I just clipped it up there. Hope it doesn't come loose. Good to know its not the airbag sensor. Thanks for you help.

twanmoney: I've heard that taking the bumper off is the easiest way to do the fogs and I was doing the grill anyway. From how tight those fogs are in there, I would suggest doing the same. Wasn't that hard.
P.S. there are some white clips holding the bumper to the car on the sides. Work those loose carefully.... I broke one.
