I'm a beginer , and have never really worked with anything other than a basic digital camera ( old cyber shot). I've been interested in taking really good pictures ( like many of you here) & Anthony ( L!zerd Photography) in north cal. He is my photography mentor buddy haha.

Anyways, i wanted to see what you guys thought of that camera? I found one and here is what the guy is asking for it:

Canon Eos 350d Camera 8megapixl (black) and it comes with a 18-55 lens, battery, battery charger, straps, caps, accesories, cd rom, and everything else that you'll need.
This camera takes very good photos, very clean and easy to use. It's literally in brand new condition, haven't used it much and has no marks or wear and tear on it.
I'm asking 400 for it. I'll also throw in a memory card for 40 bucks, its 512MB, holds a lot of photos

Would you say its worth it?

Is that camera from Europe? Because from what I understand, it's called the Rebel XT (and labeled that way on the camera). They use the numeric names in Europe. I'd find out if you can even get that camera serviced by Canon USA. Probably not an issue, but something to think about if it is indeed from another country. And personally, I wouldn't buy an XT for $400 unless it really is new. And you can buy a brand new 512mb card for 20 bucks. Don't buy a used one for 40.

Like Redline said, Canon didn't use the numerical numbering for the USA Rebel models. I just recently picked up a Digital Rebel with kit lens for my girlfriend for $250. The only thing that was wrong with it is that it had a small scratch near the tripod mount, and the lens was never used. Also , 40 bucks for the memory card is a rip off.

a damn 512mb is nothing for a camera w/ 8mp. you would probably switch out for another card when you go out taking pics. i suggest you just get a new one for a few more bucks
