2000 Toyota Celica GT-S

Don't expect to see this car anytime soon. It's about an hour west of Philly getting an engine swap. World Racing (http://www.world-racing.com) is swapping in a 3SGTE with VVT-i out of a JDM 6th gen Celica GT4. It will the first swap of it kind that we know of ever. We're aiming for 400-450 reliable horsepower. Anyone that knows this motor knows that is easily acheivable. When I bring the car out of the garage this fall it will have all of the following:

Flared body
Blown body kit (bostudios.com)
Blown Carbon Fiber hood
9" wide Dark anodized HRE 2 piece forged 445s
Skunk2 custom One off coilovers
One off carbon clutch (don't ask)
Boosted by Turbonetics...
Supra Front brakes
Celica xdrilled rear brakes
Gas lid shaved and motor cycle ring style flush in top deck
World Racing Color LCD boost/nitrous controller
Entire interior wrapped in black Vinyl
Center dash molded in Carbon/Kevlar
2 Black Recaro SRDs
Tinted headlamps and housings
Dark anodized APEXi N1 Turbo Exhaust repiped

Whenever you need a test vehicle, you know who to call. I'd be flying up route 10 to Reading in a few minutes and calling the Toyota dealer for a used Corolla to beat around in the meantime.

Talk about one-of-a-kind. It'll be a sight to see.

Hopefully we can hook up a Matrix XR awd drivetrain to it.

As I said before Bo, don't count on the Matrix AWD system man. Not only would making the tunnel for the shaft to the rear be a bitch, Toyota claims they didn't make the AWD tranny available on the XRS because the viscous coupling wasn't 'durable' enough for the application.


But the rest of it......DAAAYM!
