*sigh*
I picked up my Celica today from the Body shop...and man..does it LOOK SWEET.
They took off all 4 pieces of the kit, and repainted them. They also touched up any minor chips and scratches I had in my paint.
AND..the most important thing is..they found the leak that was causing me to have a pond in the back of my trunk. They resealed all the welds...and even repainted the trunk area for me.
It looks SOOO much better. It's amazing what a couple of coats of paint can do.
It looks better than new now...
So now...all the major problems with my car are fixed.
1. Belt Tensioner
2. New Belt.
3. Crappy chipped kit paintjob.
4. Golden Pond in da trunk.
5. Doors rubbing up against the inside of my side skirts causing the paint to peel.
6. Lack of sex....oh wait..that's tomorrow.
I spent the rest of the day...installing the A/F gauge...which turned out being more involved than simply just splicing some wires.
All in all..a very..very..productive day..that was quite enjoyable.
(by the way..for those of you didn't know..I was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee in April..and when the rainy season started up..I noticed that I had about a foot of water in my trunk.) :D
I hate jeeps now....with a passion. :O
