Headlight Sponges

Hey, I opened up my headlights to paint the inserts and I am getting moisture when it rains now, problem is, I had no clue what those little spongy things on the inside of the black rubber pieces were, so I tossed them. What would be a good replacement for them so I can hopefully reduce the moisture in the headlights?

If you mean inside those breather hoses, they are pretty much just filters. Keeps the dust and water out, but allows air to pass back and forth. Any open cell foam that is weather resistant should work.
