Night Shot: Difference between a Nikon D60 and Camera Phone

Wow check out the difference between my Nikon D60 & my camera phone.

I shot these two pics in absolute darkness, In my room, no flash AND behind TWO glass windows.

On the nikon i used no flash mode, & manual focus ( which was really hard to focus on anything since it was so dark.

One my Cell phone i used night mode.

well i wouldn't say it was really fair because you can adjust the settings on your d60 to shoot better in the dark but cool

The camera phone has two things going against it. One, the sensors are WAY small which creates a lot of noise. Two, the lenses are complete garbage which just sends garbage to the extra small sensor.

also just wanted to express how dark it was with the naked eye. Actually the camera phone was able to capture how it actually looked like, exept it was just very slightly lighter in life.
