I raced a VX SS once. The guy was a bit surprised when he could not pull away from me at all. I have a feeling that his car might have been brand new because he didn't seem to give it 100%.

Had some idiot in a V6 Commodore try to race me on the weekend. I didn't realise he was racing until he took off before me. By the time I got to the top of second I was past him - should have seem the look on his face when he got schooled by a 4 cylinder! Funny thing was, he had a mate in the car with him and was trying to big-note himself - guess that backfired!

hey nigainazr! u trying to say something??
:bang: hahaha

and mattyp, i know the feeling, a p plater in a vp v6 commodore, two young guys on the outside lane, but their lane ends... so you know what that means :burnout:
pulled a car length or more on them, whilst i had a full car load with my air-con on
i take it their plan backfired too
eheheh

vs ss, thats fun...i had a go against one a few weeks ago. was ahead by half a car and was still pulling just as I changed to third gear. the guy pulled into the next side street.
then, another guy in an xr8 thought he was something with his woman in the car. heheheh. didnt beat him by much, but the pull kept me ahead the whole time and I kept moving ahead slightly. lol.

I always get picked on by R32/R33 GTR's & GTS-t's and any other type of import turbo car (S13/S14 etc). You guys are lucky, pick on easy prey ey? hehe

good to surprise SS drivers....most dont think the new celica has balls and a little more....they launch quite well though...new ones...

Mod list was starting to get a bit long at the end of my posts. So I just decided to keep it simple. Next mod is a Sparco Rev fixed bucket seat for the drivers side. Already arrived, but waitng to get my car back from the dealer in another 2 or so weeks to install it (tranny problems getting fixed).

I know I'm going to lose to a S13 Silvia or a 180 in a straght line but I still have a go. Because I know I'll pass them on the turns.

As for supercharger, putting that on hold till my car is ready for it. Its was a tough decision to put car balance as main concern, over my power urges. Set a time limit till may next year. I've always enjoyed taking corners quickly more than going quick in a straight line.

I need to organise getting some other parts first till then......

- Tein Type HA coilovers with the Tein EDFC
- Whiteline anti-sway bars + bushes etc
- Tanabe front strut brace and lower front tie bar

- Brembo 4 pot front brake upgrade w/ 315mm+ sized front discs
- Stainless steel braided brake lines and upgraded brake fluid
- Possibly DBA slotted discs for the rear with endless VN8500 pads
- Night Pager (Japanese brand) Master brake cyclinder bracket

- Hopefully Kaaz Helical type LSD
- Upgraded clutch and lighter flywheel
- Earls oil cooler

- Apex'i Turbo timer
- Omori single Din 3 gauge set

I have alot of saving to do.

If i were you i would get rid of those A539's pretty quickly...just to put it mildy i would pretty much chuck them away...

Nice mods!...looks like your car is ready to go!...

As for the GT wing...do you use it on the street?...you tend to get some odd looks with those..i know i used to use it on the streets but not anymore...

Cheers:gap:

I can agree with the comments on the tire. Pretty disapointed with them. Probably get some Dunlop FM901's next.
