Can anybody tell me the part number for the Toyota oil filter for the GT-S?

I think the dealer sold me the wrong one.

90915-10004

if they gave you a 90915-10002 for whatever reason that should fit as well.

Thanks for the answer, but now I'm more confused.

My receipt and the filter itself both say 90915-YZZA1. But a receipt from a previous oil change says 90915-YZZA2.

90915-YZZA1 is for the GT-S. 90915-YZZA2 is for the GT.

The dealer I took it to had put a 90915-YZZA2 on my GT-S, as I found out when I went to change it myself this time around. After reading on here that the proper part should be 90915-YZZA1, I asked them to double-check, and they agreed that the A1 is the correct part. So, the A2 will fit on a GT-S, and it looks like dealers routinely install them. The A1 is about 1" longer than the A2. I think I will be doing it on my own from now on.

BTW, Griffin, where did you find the part number in the manual? I have the two main service volumes, and can never seem to find the right place to locate the individual part numbers, except for the special tools that are required for the service procedure. Is the parts manual different/separate from the service manual?

Yup - parts is a whole different ball of wax than the shop manual. It comes mostly in software form these days for a variety of EPCs (Electronic Parts Catalogs) or you can get the HUGE honkin Book-O-Parts.

yes Griffin is right... the Stock oil filter is really really excellent... I wonder what that TRD one looks like in cross section... anyone feel like cutting into $45 dollars?
