I'm through the oil pan now and i'm trying to get the fvcking rod cap ends off, but the bolts are not hex bolts, they are more like 12 sided bolts....I'm using a 13mm socket on it right now, but they are toorqued on so tightly that even the fairly snug fit of the 13mm is skipping (and shredding!) the bolts. is there an SST or a special socket that i'm supposed to be using?!?!

To answer my own question, it's a 12mm 12 point "star" socket.

stock rodcaps are 12pt 12mm bolts. not star like above. and why would u use a 13mm and its not snug. seriously dude. use some commen sense.

oh for future refrence, there is nothing on the celica thats 13mm. 10, 12, 14, 17, or 19mm
